Delhi Police is hands down the luckiest squad team in the country right now. Why? Because 30 new Labrador Retriever dogs were added to the New Delhi Police Force on April 4, in a ceremony that was held at the India Gate lawns. And the cuteness quotient is melting our hearts.

While twenty will be trained to sniff out explosives, others will be trained to nab criminals.

The dogs have been put on a rigorous drill that requires them to identify smells and track down targets within minutes. With a strict diet of meat and rice twice every day, the dogs are pawing their way to becoming the custodians of our safety.
