Pullela Gopichand is the man behind two world champions in badminton after a stellar career in the sport. Now National Award-winning director Praveen Sattaru has decided to turn the journey of the former badminton player-turned-coach into a film. A source in the film unit said, “Since Gopichand is widely popular, the makers have decided to make the film in Telugu, Hindi and English.” Pre-production work has begun and the film will go on the floors by 2017, the report said. The report says that the makers are finalizing the locations and roping in actor and ex-student of Gopichand - Sudheer Babu - to play the title role. Babu is reportedly currently working on a Telegu project, after which he will reportedly begin shooting the biopic.
