Greek police have arrested four Pakistani minors who were in the country as refugees for the gangrape of a boy inside a refugee camp. “The four minors, aged 16 to 17, will appear before a prosecutor today,” a police source told AFP news agency. The incident was reported on Sunday from a refugee camp in Moria on the island of Lesbos. Police said victim was also a Pakistani minor and has been living in the camp which shelters over 60,000 refugees.

Even though the exact number of Pakistani refugees are unknown, it is estimated to be in thousands.

Most of them have entered Europe illegally pretending to be from the conflict zones in Afghanistan.

Earlier this year EU had began deporting Pakistani asylum seekers as they were identified as economic migrants and not people feeling conflict or facing threat to their lives.
