Heights Of Coincidence These Two Pair Of Twins Scored Exact Same Marks In CBSE Class 12

Two stories have emerged from the Class 12 CBSE results announced yesterday that has left us scratching our head in wonder. The first story is from Mumbai, of Juli and Shingo Sarkar. The two are fraternal twins who studied at Mumbai's R N Podar School and guess what, they have scored an identical 475 out of 500 - or 95% each, as per a report by The Times of India. Juli and his sister Shindo have also scored the exact 95 each in Physics as well as Chemistry.

The twins - born to a Japanese mother and a Bengali father - are also state-level athletes and have participated in several dance competitions. Now that the results are out, the two are headed to Japan. The similarities however end here, as Shingo will study Chemical Engineering at Nagoya University, while Juli Environmental Science in University of Tokyo. The second story is from Gurugram, of Ankita and Harshita Chauhan & it's even more mind-boggling The twins have not only scored an identical 93% in Class 12 CBSE, but also in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), as per a report in Hindustan Times. (But none of them has qualified for the advanced exam). Students of Gurugram Sector 14's DAV Public School, their scores have an uncanny similarity: While Harshita scored 87 in English, 93 in Chemistry and 95 in Maths, Anikita scored 93, 95 and 87 respectively. However, unlike Juli and Shingo, Ankita and Harshita will study the same course at the same college - software engineering at a college in Chennai. “We cannot get over the fact that our results are same. Neither can our parents believe it," Ankita told HT. Her twin sister Harshita told the paper, "Ankita worked very hard and was expecting a higher score than me in the board examinations but our father used to say that we will score equally. When we opened the result, we were in shock to see that he was right."
