Prince Harry’s beard became red after he was plastered with powder paint during Holi celebrations in Nepal. The young prince was on a visit to a school in the foothills of the Himalayas, and ended up taking part in the annual tradition of a paint fight. And he was brilliant at it. The ceremony started with locals putting paint on the Prince’s ginger colour beard. However, it soon turned into happy chaos when the Prince’s former Army colleague, Gurka officer Major Prakash Gurung, threw red powder on Harry’s shoulders.

Prince Harry washed off most of the paint before he left the school, although his white shirt was still full of colour as he headed towards the mountain path to a helipad for a chopper flight to his next engagement.
