The inaugural Indian Super League (ISL) starts on the 12th of October and the excitement is growing every day. 5. Joan Capdevila (Spain) Marquee Player, North East United FC

Capdevila was part of the invincible Spanish team that won the 2008 EURO and 2010 World Cup. The 36-year-old left back has played over 400 games in his career and is looking forward to playing with Indian footballers.

6. Robert Pires (France) Marquee Player, FC Goa

He was part of the World Cup and European championship winning squad for France. The 40-year-old left winger had been an integral part of Arsenal from 2000-2006 when the team won three FA Cup titles and two EPL championships.
