Last night I caught up into a conversation where one of my friends – all of a sudden – decided to boast about his favourite motorbike – Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The discussion reached to a level of ostentatiousness (from his side of course) where I finally had to agree to take a test drive and make an opinion about it. Honestly speaking, I think they belong to a museum, not roads and here are 6 reasons to believe that:
3. And if you think they are not meant to drive on city highways but to cruise up and down in some alien bucolic world (or in Himalayas, I must say) then let me warn you that they are not! Given their shitty mileage of 25 km pl and a pathetically small tank size of just over 13 liters, you will always need to carry additional fuel with you – which only makes this 200 kg piece of metal just irrefutably heavy to handle.
4. Because not every mechanic knows how to use their power of Jugaad when it comes to repairing a Bullet – makes them just too unreliable – if you can’t do a little hotwiring by yourself.
