6 Times Queens Coming from All over the world Abused The Power Inside Many Absurd Approaches.

The world has seen its share of tyrannic rulers. Kings and queens, over centuries, have abused their powers, inflicting human torture over their subjects. However, there have been instances, where rulers, although have abused their powers, have done it in the most ridiculous fashion you can imagine. Albeit, such abuse of power have caused trouble for the subjects but you can’t help but laugh in retrospect at such ridiculous acts of atrocities. Let’s check them out. Frederick William I of Prussia – had a thing for tall guys: The Prussian was really into tall guys and wanted nobody less than a giant in his army. However, he soon realized that his kingdom had already recruited all the seven footers they had but he was far from done. Therefore, Frederick William 1 of Prussia started kidnapping tall men from other parts of Europe and formed his army of seven footers which he called “Potsdamer Riesengarde” (the giant guard of Postdam). However, the Germans secretly mocked them as the Lange Kerls or the “long guys”. By the way, the army never fought a battle because they were too precious to the King.

Akbar – the experiment with children

This story may not be hilarious but it’s downright weird. So, Mughal emperor, Akbar wanted to find out which religion, language and what sort of behavior would humans naturally be inclined if they had no influencing factors from birth.

Therefore, the emperor arranged for a set of newborns to be placed in seclusion, nursed by nurses who either were dumb or instructed to never speak a word to them, and let them remain in such seclusion with each other, without any contact with the external world for 12 years. Apparently, most of them died and the ones who lived grew up dumb.

Muhammad bin Tughlaq – made everyone evacuate Delhi to shift to Daulatabad

Another lunatic who unfortunately, had been the the Sultan of Delhi from 1324 to 1351. The common people had to be in the receiving end of his craziness and one of the most ridiculous abuse of power by Tughlaq was the shift of capital.

It created havoc and destroyed lives but to think from an administrative point of view, the decision was ridiculously funny. Instead of shifting just the administration from Delhi to Daulatabad, Tuglaq made the entire population shift causing an epic chaos and loss of money. A few years later, Tughlaq shifted the capital back to Delhi causing another round of chaos.
