An over-emotional mother who could 'sense' her son's arrival in K3G! Oh yes. Jaya Bachchan's super-power in the film included her 7th sense which was a 'son around' detector. Whenever her son Rahul was around, she could 'feel' it, quite literally! Don't remember? Watch the epic scene here:

After K3G, Jaya Bachchan got a Christian make-over as Naina's mother Jenny in Kal Ho Na Ho!

Jenny is perhaps the cutest Dharma mom we ever saw! From supporting her kids in every possible way to giving some honest advice, we loved Jaya Bachchan as Jenny!

The Kirron Kher era in Dharma films - a typical Punjabi mom who had the guts to support her daughter-in-law and not her son when the need arose. (Thanks for this, KJo)

Even when Indian audiences couldn't whole-heartedly welcome and embrace the idea of extra-marital affairs in a Bollywood flick, this was quite a brave attempt by Dharma productions. Kirron Kher as the mom was not just fun and loving, she had the guts to choose between right and wrong even when it meant disowning her own son! Also, no tears here. For a change, Kirron Kher didn't cry a bucket.
