As the century's heaviest rains pounded Chennai leaving lakhs of people stranded, a few lucky canines from the flood-ravaged city have found a safe home in Bengaluru, thanks to the efforts of a group that provides dog boarding services. When Chennai-based "Hotel for Dogs" started getting distress calls from worried dog owners seeking help for their pets, they decided to move canines to their Bengaluru 'hotel' as they were unable to take dogs in their Chennai facilities. However, this service for the canines is not a charity. 'Hotel For Dogs' will charge for this service at different rates. And they posted this on their Facebook page on December 1:
As the rains keep pouring and our city is slowly sinking. We have been getting a lot distress calls from dog owners...
