Singh, who moved to Australia in 2006, works as an air conditioner mechanic by day and as a taxi driver at night. However, he still manages to take time out to feed the poor and the needy with a little help from his son, Navdeep, on the last Sunday of each month.

Singh funds the feast from his own pocket and cooks up 80 kg of rice and curry every month to feed the homeless after he is done with his 12-hour night shift.
