Last year, a private-intelligence firm Strategic Forecasting or Stratfor, published its Decade Forecast, in which it highlights the next 10 years of probable global political and economic developments. While international analysts often exercise their interest at predicting the major events of the future, Stratfor is confident that it's identified the major trends of the next decade. According to Stratfor, the world would be a dangerous place to live in the next 10 years with US power declining and the rising chaos between other prominent countries.
Declining oil prices, sanction, rising military expenses, a plunging Rouble and increasing internal discord will weaken the hold of Russia's central government over the world's largest country. Moscow's power will decline to the point that Russia will effectively become a string of semi autonomous regions that might face problems with one another.
Poland lies on the western border of Russia and it's population will not decline as much as those of the other major European economies. The nation could also leverage into great political and economic control by getting into a position of regional leadership. And it only helps Poland to have a close partnership with the US.
