Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan

Ranthambore is India’s largest national park and is spread across 1,334 square kilometres. This is the most preferred national park for wildlife photographers. The park is a dry jungle though, with ancient structures giving it a rustic feel. You can easily spot tigers and leopards around these structures, but there are three lakes in the park, namely Padam Talo, Raj Talao and Milak Taleo, around which cubs and tigress tend to gather. Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh

Kanha is known for its open meadows and a wide variety of animals. This park is not only famous for tigers, but also barasingha, an endangered specie of deer, which is found only here. The best way to spot a tiger here is via an elephant safari. Kanha is open from October to June, but tigers are seen mainly in the months between April and June.
