It does’t require a wine connoisseur to know that there are two kinds of wine – red and wine. That’s the basic that anyone who pretends to know their wine must know. However, that’s not the case anymore because there’s a new kind of wine in town and it’s called the blue wine! The winemakers from Spain, Gik, have come with a sweet wine that’s electric blue in colour that just looks ridiculously attractive. After two years of collaborated research by Gik, University of the Basque Country, and Food Tech, this fascinating new wine was created whose grapes come all over from the vineyards in La Rioja, Zaragoza, León, and Castilla-La. The deep hue of the wine comes by mixing hite and red grapes along with the organic pigments of indigo and anthocyaninm which comes from the skin of grapes.

If you though that it would be one of those unreasonably expensive wines you’re wrong because a 750 ml of the bottled wine comes for just $10 USD (Rs 765).

Looks like we are going to be a little too fond of this new wine that looks like a piece of the deepest ocean served in a bottle.

So, if you haven’t had developed a taste for wine yet, it was probably because you had always been a blue wine person.
