Rickshaw puller Nizamuddin and his family, who were about to break their Ramzan fast in Naya Gaon, got the shock of their lives when they saw district magistrate and his wife at their door.

DM Zuhair-Bin Sagheer and his wife Ayesha had met Nizamuddin while giving 'zakat' a few days ago and decided to spend some time with the daily wager on Friday. The officer and his wife sat on the floor with the family for 'iftar'."It is the duty of the public servant to listen to the grievances of poor and help them," the officer said.

Nizamuddin said that the officer gave him new clothes and money.
