Donald Trump Just Got Trolled By Islam For His Ignorant Comments

Mr Donald Trump has been making too many heads turn, and for all the seemingly wrong and redneck reasons. Considering the fact that the man has displayed a complete lack of any filter and semblance when it comes to his opinions about immigration and racial diversity, recently the American presidential candidate made some less than diplomatic comments about Islam. And, as always, got trolled for it. Here's what happened. Trump recently caused a stir with his comment stating: "I think Islam hates us." In a recent interview with CNN, Donald Trump was quoted saying, "I think Islam hates us. There's something there, there's a tremendous hatred there. There's a tremendous hatred, we have to get to the bottom of it. There's an unbelievable hatred of us." The comment not surprisingly enough caught people's attention. And, Islam's. But then, Islam had to say something back. Soon enough, after the hopeful candidate's comment, Islam turned to Twitter to ease the tension with a tweet saying, "Dear Donald Trump, my name is Islam, And I don't hate America." Young Islam Sharief explained the rest in an interview with indy100.com. He said, "I think that Trump's success despite his continuous attacks on minority groups shows the true colours of bigotry and racism in the US. It certainly demonstrates that we still have a lot of work to do despite the progress we've made since the 60s. We can blame Trump for inciting violence and hatred, but then we'd be using him as the scapegoat. The truth is there are some Americans who claim to believe in democracy when in reality they simply despise anything that differs from their so-called "American values". I'm not sure what it'll take to combat Trump's hatred. Some people are trying humour while others attack him with insults. At this point it seems there is a sense of desperation to stop him. And hopefully we will do." Mr Trump, let's not mess with religion, please.
