Microsoft Is Banning Stupid Easy-To-Guess Passwords Since You Were Too Lazy To Change Them

If you have been ever so lazy to change the password you set back in school, then you're in for a surprise. Because Microsoft is coming to pull the plug on your stupidity and make you make a stronger, more privacy-protected password. No, it cannot be your birthday. Or, 12345. Or, your mobile number. Or, password (really, STILL?).

Calling it "dynamically banned", the Microsoft team will block your password if it pops up in their stolen or most-used password lists. And because you refused to learn the easy way, you'll have to make a stronger, more complex password to protect your online information.

Not only this, Microsoft will also continue with its lockout mode - where you get locked out because you incorrectly guess the password more than a designated number of times - in order to prevent your account from getting hacked.
