Sushma Swaraj Makes Sure India-Pak Tension Doesnt Get in Between Cross-Border Love, Promises Visa For Pakistani Bride


The strain following rising tension between India and Pakistan, had almost derailed the dreams of a boy from Rajasthan and a girl from Pakistan. With the date of wedding draws near, the Indian embassy in Pakistan did not granted visas to the bride's family and relatives, leaving both parties tense about solemnizing the union as per schedule.

While the bride's party has been allegedly made to run from pillar to post for visas by the Indian embassy, the groom sent pleas to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj for help.



Swaraj, one of the most proactive Indian minister's on Twitter responded saying that she will get the visa.

Naresh from Jodhpur got engaged to Priya Bachchani of Karachi in Pakistan over two years back after their families met through a matrimony service, run by Naresh's father Kanhaiya Lal Tewani as a social service for the community.

The duo is set to tie knot on November 7.
