To Kill South Korea President Threatens Seoul North Korea Practises With Drills

In response to drills conducted by the US and South Korean military, Kim Jong Un ordered military drills that targeted the residence of South Korean President, Park Gun Hye. According to KCNA, the country's press agency, the exercise involved plenty of long range artillery. Claiming that military drills by its enemies are 'provocations', Pyonyang has threatened to, according to RT, blow up Seoul into 'rubble and ashes'.

A nuclear test in January has caused tensions to run high in the East Asian region making the UN impose sanctions against North Korea. China and Russia have openly criticised the Communist dictatorships actions claiming that it should abide by guidelines of the United Nations.

“We stand firmly against the deployment of the [American] THAAD missile defense system to South Korea under the pretext of the nuclear problem of the Korean Peninsula,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said to RT. “We believe this to be directly damaging to Russian and Chinese strategic [national] security.”
