Valentine’s day in India has always been a controversial topic. On one side, we have couples eager to celebrate the day, and on the other side, we have some political groups injecting ‘sanskaars’ into us.
Anuj Dayal, Chief Spokesman of DMRC exclaimed:
The ad was displayed by a private contractor as all the ad space on the Metro premises are allotted to specialised agencies which, in turn, allot them to advertisers. The matter is being examined and taken up with the contractor for necessary action.
What happens next remains to be seen.
But what remains unquestioned is why the V-day causes so much furore every year? Isn’t it our choice?
