If you don't know him by his name, Param Sharma, you'll probably know him by his Twitter Handle, itslavishbitch. Originally from New Delhi, Param is based in San Francisco, USA and is the son of extremely wealthy parents.

He is fond of expensive cars, latest Apple technology and high-end designer wear and there is nothing wrong with that, except for the fact that he loves to flaunt to the point of annoying everyone. Having picked Twitter battles with the likes of Rihanna and the Kardashians, Param is regarded as 'Instagram's Most Hated Teenager', something that we have already told you about.

And now, Param has been arrested and is in custody for the last 24 days. He was found guilty of selling a stolen iPhone on Craigslist. His lawyer Andrew Shalaby claimed that his client is the first person to be jailed for such a misdemeanour. He added that Param was merely trying to help a friend sell the phone as the latter had no means to do so himself.

The buyer took the phone to the cops who tried to activate it and a pop-up informed them that the device had been stolen. The police promptly arrested Param from a restaurant, and took him into 90-day custody. His bail has been set at USD 30,000. Shalaby claims that this treatment is being meted out only because the police is well aware about who his client is.

Param was convicted on 18 August and is being held in Santa Rita Jail. After being jailed, his file was 'lost' and so he was placed in the psych ward for 2 weeks, until the paperwork was recovered and he could be moved to the regular jail.

Hopefully, this episode will sober him down as all the wealth in the world could not get him out of prison soon enough.
