Airbnb is a proven website that works to help people find and rent out lodging in an easy and and very cheap way. It's helped a lot of people find a last minute home, save money, and sometimes even make some friends. Originating from the idea of couchsurfing and with more than 10 million users, we can all agree the system works. Like every good thing in life however, there's people who are just out to destroy it. Something which can have disastrous consequences in the case of renting or finding a place to stay. Here are some of the worst Airbnb experiences from the past few years! The renters who had a drug induced orgy and caused damage worth $75,000 In what is arguably one of the most notorious and horrifying Airbnb stories, a couple who rented their home out for the weekend came back to find it so dirty and toxic they had to call in people in hazmat suits to clean it up. Bags of condoms were everywhere, and pools of unidentifiable liquid clogged every inch of the house. Apparently, the renters had a decent time though.

The house where some people found a decomposing dead body

Last month in Paris, a group of young people who had rented a house via Airbnb for a weekend discovered a badly decomposed body in the garden near the edge of the property. Apparently it was covered by tree branches which had been placed there deliberately in order to conceal the body.

The house where a hooker was stabbed

One woman from New York rented her place out to a woman who claimed to be an Army private who was shipping out soon. She was actually a prostitute, and following a dispute, was stabbed by a client. Needless to say, things didn't go down too well, but the woman survived.
