There are awards, and then there are the Nobel Prizes. The prestigious awards, given out annually to some of the world's most deserving achievers, are being announced this week and everyone's got their fingers crossed. Well, everyone but us. We held our own private awards in the Indiatimes backyard, complete with a red dupatta standing in for a carpet and shampoo bottles for statuettes. Our honorable awardees couldn't make it to the show, given the short notice, but we're glad to proudly announce who the most deserving Bollywood winners for this year's Nobel Prizes are!

5. Rohit Shetty for the Nobel Prize In Physics

Because no director has been able to manipulate momentum and gravity quite like him. This scene from 'Singham' is proof enough.

6. Chetan Bhagat for the Nobel Prize In Literature

Because while one might argue that Bhagat's writing is hardly noteworthy, the writer-turned-Bollywood producer has captured the imagination of the country and filmmakers alike. The movie rights for his book 'Half Girlfriend' were snapped up even before the release of the novel and his past works were adapted into box office blockbusters like '3 Idiots', '2 States' and 'Kai Po Che'.
