Chris Martin, the vocalist of Coldplay's, unannounced  arrival at Summer House Cafe, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi,, took everyone by surprise and got us all wondering: what the hell was he doing in Delhi in the first place? I mean: yes, a surprise appearance is a good enough reason but still. There has got to be more to it, right?

So here's the real reason why he was in town: Chris Martin, along with Freida Pinto, came to town for The Global Poverty Project.

What is it, you ask? It is a project part of a global non-profit organisation that aims to eradicate extreme poverty by 2030. Martin and Pinto are the brand ambassadors of Global Citizen and this project.
