If you use an iPhone, you know that the phone's repair is so expensive that one can literally buy a new smartphone with that much money. But there is one program under which you can have your iPhone repaired, free of cost! But don't get too excited, the program is only for iPhone 6 Plus users. Now there's a possibility that you might already be aware of it, but if not, it's about time you check your phone's serial number and see if it's eligible for a free repair. The program is only for iPhone 6 Plus, some of which were manufactured with faulty hardware. It was after receiving complaints from people, that Apple launched a program to replace the phone's camera, with no extra charges! In short, your iPhone 6 Plus is eligible for a free camera replacement, if it's taking blurry images. This is obviously as long as the phone is in good working condition. Apple says there is a small percentage of phones that have this issue, and if you bought an iPhone 6 Plus between September 2014 and January 2015, chances are your phone might be one of those. To address this problem, the company has offered to replace the phone.



According to Apple (AAPL, Tech30), there is a range of serial numbers that may have defective component in the camera and takes blurry pictures.

You can go to the Apple's iSight camera replacement program page and check if the serial number of your phone falls into the category of phones eligible for a free replacement. However, if the phone is eligible but has no hardware concern, you might not get your phone iSight camera. But just for caution, you can visit the Apple store and if there's a concern that you failed to notice, who knows, you might get a new camera! As the page says:
