Imran Holds Out An Olive Branch, Says Not All Pakistanis Are Like Nawaz Sharif

Flaying his country Prime Minister for not being able to handle the current tussle with India, Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has said that not all Pakistanis are like Nawaz Sharif. "Do not think all of Pakistan is like Nawaz Sharif, our entire country is united," the Tahreek-i-Insaf chief said at a rally in country's Raiwind town. The comment was aimed at Sharif's handling of the escalating tensions with India following the Uri attack and the surgical strikes by the Indian Army along the LoC.

"Nawaz Sharif has great love for money. In United Nations General Assembly Sharif reluctantly made pro-Kashmiri speech. Modi said Nawaz Sharif had not wanted to make that speech but he did so on the pressure of army chief Gen Raheel Sharif."

Imran also offered an olive branch to India and said that the people of Pakistan want peace and friendship with India. "We want peace. We are ready for friendship if you (Modi) are willing. I offer you peace as war is no solution to problems," Imran said at the rally.

Shortly after India's surgical strikes at Pakistan's terror launch pads, Imran Khan was reported as saying that he would 'show his Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif how to react to such aggressions'.
