Rafael Nadal Angry At Being Accused Of Faking An Injury To Cover Up A Failed Drug Test!

Rafael Nadal is not a happy man and he has good reason not to be so cheery. On Saturday, Nadal hit back at claims that he he faked an injury in 2012 to cover up a failed drugs test. The accusation had been made by former French sports minister Roselyne Bachelot.

Nadal has never failed a drug test on the ATP Tour and has always denied using banned substances.

He said he had worked hard for the success he earned and it was now time for justice. He feels his name should be cleared of such a scandal and that people should start pointing fingers at him.

The 14-time Grand Slam winner says he is thrilled by the support he has got from friends and family at this critical time. Even La Liga club Real Madrid has come out to back him. He hopes the matter will be put to rest and not be brought up for discussion again.

Nadal’s comments come after former world number one Maria Sharapova admitted to having failed a drug test at the Australian Open.

Sharapova tested positive for meldonium, which was added to the WADA’s banned list this year.
