Finding a forever home is probably what every kid in the foster care system dreams of. But the whole adoption process can be long and exhausting. Hours in court, home visits...they can be anything but a dream. But when five-year-old Danielle Koning's adoption hearing finally came, her case worker at Samaritas' foster care program decided to make it truly special. While the day she would finally become an official member of her forever family was exciting enough, a visit to the stuffy courtroom could have put a damper on the event.
