Wow PM Modi Travels At Night And Sleeps In Flights To Save Time During Foreign Trips

Narendra Modi’s popularity among the masses has gained momentum with time. Our diligent Prime Minister wants India to progress by leaps and bounds and he is leaving no stone unturned to achieve the same. But amidst all of this, have you ever wondered how he manages to balance everything? He prefers to travel at night for his foreign trips, thus managing to sleep in flights. This helps him to shorten his foreign trips, and he doesn’t have to stay in foreign hotels. His mantra to save “unproductive night stay in foreign hotels” speaks volumes about his efficiency and commitment. Between March 30 and April 2, he travelled to Belgium, the USA, and Saudi Arabia. He spent 3 nights on Air India One flight – from Delhi to Brussels, from Brussels to Washington DC, and then finally to Riyadh.

This reflects in his productivity skills and when we compare Narendra Modi’s foreign trips with Manmohan Singh, we’d notice the stark difference.

Modi has travelled 40 countries in 20 trips and Manmohan Singh has travelled 18 countries in 15 trips.

A government official threw some light on Modi’s recent Washington and Riyadh trip, emphasising on his time management skills.

He said the following:

“It is unprecedented to complete a PM’s multination trip involving the US in just 97 hours. If the PM had not chosen to sleep on the plane, we would not have been back for at least six days.”

Elaborating further on Modi’s line of thought, the official added, “A night should be spent in a foreign hotel only if there is an engagement scheduled the next day.”

That’s not the whole story. Modi also prepares for his debriefing on the plane itself.

Being a PM can render you sleepless, clearly. And such time management skills shows his level of commitment.
