Apart from their excellent box office record some actors have also maintained a crime record for which they were arrested and the sad part is that some real reputed actors are in the list. It’s a shame for one to read that someone who’s being idolized by many or someone who is perhaps the face of the new generation, committing preposterous crimes. It’s equally shocking to see an A list actor commit a crime as it is to read the varying degrees of laws being violated by them. We have witnessed different kinds of unlawful acts for which the actors were booked. While some of them are free from their allegations, others are still in the court facing trial. Many were proved guilty while some were discharged on bail. The list has many names. Here’s one with some top actor names in it, who were guilty under the law and order.

3.Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt was sent to prison in 2007 under the anti-terrorist law for possession of deadly, illegal firearms. Mumbai, in 1993, suffered a series of serial bombings and Dutt was amongst several accused in that case for which he went to jail. Court again upheld Dutt’s five year sentence in 2013. He is currently serving his term in Yerwada central Jail.

4. Ankit Tiwari

This upcoming and talented Bollywood singer was arrested for raping his girlfriend. In her complaint, she claimed that the Aashiqui 2 singer raped her on several occasions. He was granted bail subsequently. His brother too was involved in this case as a person who had been threatening the victim.
