I bet you feel disgusted when you find a hair, or worse, a fly in your soup. Well, you’re going to consider yourself lucky after you hear the story of this woman. A woman based in Jharkhand alleges she found a condom in her box of Chilli Paneer. The woman in question is an official with Tata Steel in Jamshedpur. She had ordered a Spring Roll Dosa and Chilli Paneer from a local restaurant called Dosa Hut, via a food-delivering app called Gravycart, a startup which was launched last December.

Nitin Sharma further confirmed that the delivery boy had been dismissed.

Speaking for his startup, Sharma said, “We don’t prepare the food or package it; we just deliver the orders booked through our website that has 20-23 reputed restaurants on the list. We have decided to put our seal on every food packet that can’t be opened without tearing the aluminum foil.” Nitin also repeated that it was a conspiracy to spoil the name of the company and is at his wits’ end as to how a condom turned up in a food packet.

The charge still seems to be uninvestigated, so take the allegations with a grain of salt.
