Aadhaar enrolments hit the 1-billion mark by this weekend. Here are 10 ways in which Aadhaar can make your life simpler. Passport in 10 days An Aadhaar number can get you a passport in 10 days. Police verification is carried out at a later date. Applicant applies online; he or she needs only to attach the Aadhaar number/card as sole address and identity proof. Applicant will get appointment within three days and in another seven, the passport will be processed and dispatched. Aadhaar card has been made mandatory for issuance of passports.
