A sweeper found a carrier of 52 Rs1000 notes and what the lady did next deserves an applause


Prime Minister Narendra Modi scrapped the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes from November 8 midnight making the existing currency absolutely useless. However, one can go and exchange it in banks and post offices for new currency. In addition, the government also declared that cash deposits above Rs 2.5 lakh will be scrutinised and 200 per cent penalty will be levied in case of a mismatch in income.



Not once did she think about keeping the money because it’s not like the currency was useless, one can get it exchanged. “The money does not belong to me. We don’t know the source of these currency notes so we decided to hand them over to the police,” Kasbe was quoted as saying. Also, reportedly, the notes had garbage stains on them.
