Amitabh Bachchan recently wrote a heartfelt letter to his grand daughters, Aaradhya (daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai) and Navya Naveli (daughter of Nikhil and Shweta Nanda) imparting values to face the world.

Out of all the responses, it was ones from his daughter Shweta and granddaughter Navya which made it special for him. Navya said, ‘Nanu, I will exactly follow this’. Big B's daughter also responded and said, ‘I have been trying to teach Navya for so many years and just through one letter, you have conveyed what I wanted to for so many years’. That had an immediate impact,” IANS reported Big B quoting the same at an event. In the same event, Big B accepted that the open letter was written keeping in mind the essence of his movie Pink, and he reveals it was Shoojit Sircar's idea to put it in the form of letter to his granddaughters. They felt it can reveal much about the film without disclosing the plot. "So what you saw in the letter, was the essence of Pink". Pink was released on 16th September and has managed to rave positive response at the box office.
