The world knows that Narendra Modi has a different set of dignified rules when it comes to playing the PM. He is cool, he is different and he is one of the most influential leaders to walk the Earth. In a heartwarming incident that took place on August 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called up a couple in Mirzapur district, UP and named their baby Daughter Vaibhavi, in response to a letter that the couple wrote.

Bharat, who is a son of a farmer was blessed with a Daughter on Aug 13. The same day his wife Vibha wrote a letter and they sent it to the PMO office by speed post. In seven days, Bharat received a call and the PM talked to him for about 2 minutes. Bharat said,

“HE CONGRATULATED ME AND SAID I SHOULD NAME THE GIRL VAIBHAVI BECAUSE IT WILL INCLUDE LETTERS OF BOTH ME AND MY WIFE’S NAMES.”

PM MODI SAID, “YOU WILL FULFILL VAIBHAVI’S DREAMS AND VAIBHAVI WILL BECOME YOUR POWER.”

The couple had been planning to write to the PM for about 2 months, even before the birth of their daughter. They have always wanted a daughter. The wife wrote to PM Modi and requested him to name their daughter. Bharat said,

"SHE ALSO MENTIONED THAT HIS CAMPAIGN FOR THE GIRL CHILD HAS BEEN AN INSPIRATION AND THAT TWO INDIAN GIRLS HAD WON MEDALS IN THE OLYMPICS, WHICH IS A MOMENT OF JOY FOR THE COUNTRY."

No one believed Bharat’s story when he went about to tell people that they are naming their daughter Vaibhavi because PM Modi suggested the name. He called up the PMO office again and requested them if they could send him a letter.

Bharat has studied till class XII and Vibha is a graduate in commerce. He works in Agra and loves his daughter.

If everyone starts to value daughters as much as this couple, things would become a lot brighter in our country. Like Mr. Modi said, “You fulfill her dreams and she will become your power.”
