Vijender Singh carried forward his unstoppable run at the pro-boxing circuit, making India proud once again as he clinched his sixth straight fight on Friday (May 13). Taking on a much experienced Andrzej Soldra of Poland, Vijender showed his true colours and gave a sound thrashing to his opponent via a technical knockout in a power-packet fight in Bolton's Macron Arena. Vijender was off to a tremendous start in the first round even as Soldra wanted to take the attack to him in few early moves. However, before the first round could end, Vijender's thunderous right hook found Soldra on the ground. After getting a taste of Vijender is all about, Soldra barely managed to survive the first round. The second round was a more even affair as compared to the first one as Soldra managed to land a few blows on Vijender but those couldn't deter the Bhiwani man's spirit. In fact, Vijender gained momentum by his timely uppercuts and tight defence and the 29-year-old European was on the backfoot.
